For a brief time, in my younger years studying the many facets of the Amarrian faith, I studied under one that held the title of Seraph, and I was granted the title Hand of The Seraph. Now she was of course a mad twisted soul, but she was present and part of a great many of the recent events, including the exile of the Tetrimonic order. Were one to have say a... spectrum... of Sabikness, with for instance a devout Amarrian loyalist pilot on one end that just yearns for the fullness of their faith and then at the other end an overtly blood hungry "Omir aint got nothing on me" leader of an alliance of capsuleers raiding and feasting upon the Amarr militia, CVA and other sorts whilst in league with any pirates or terrorists of low breeding well, that end is where she stood.

What she did impress upon me at the time, was there is a sabik ritual. Now this was before the cloning technology reached the point where loss of knowledge and skill was completely stopped. Now in this ritual, a true Sabik would die, without any upgraded clone and then when reborn would be fit to be a True, or as was called, Dark, Sabik. It showed strength of will over holding anything else as having greater meaning. A marvel of commitment.
